A campaign devised for Arts University Bournemouth Students' Union annual Elections. The Elections drew little interest from the student body, and the promotional material needed to be relevant to the lives of students at AUB to engage their interest.
I came up with the slogan 'Mould Your Future, Cast Your Vote' because it related directly to the process of moulding and casting, which is used by many art students at university. Working in a team, we then made a life-cast of a hand and cast it in various materials such as resin and plaster, to represent different positions that students could stand for in the elections.
The campaign resulted in a 7% increase in overall voter turnout, and the highest recorded voter turnout since SU elections had begun at AUB.
